Chef José Mendín brings the spirit of Italy to Sunset Harbour with Casa Isola.
Casa Isola, the latest concept by five-time James Beard Foundation Award-nominated chef and celebrated restaurateur, Chef Jose Mendin, opened to the public February 2021. The authentic Italian restaurant took residence in Mendin’s iconic Pubbelly space, located in Miami Beach’s exclusive Sunset Harbour neighborhood. The Italian osteria pays homage to Pubbelly’s tavern-style dining, while bringing to life a new culinary spirit for Mendin.
As in all Mendin’s kitchens, the food at Casa Isola will embrace a scratch-made approach utilizing best possible ingredients at the foundation, because memorable food is not made with shortcuts.
